The Ringling museum does not only boast a variety of art pieces, the grounds surrounding it are kept impeccably, take a stroll under the tall Banyan trees and find a nice reading spot or leisure through the beautiful Rose Garden. The John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art is a wonderful place to spend the afternoon or evening with friends or family. The Museum was established from the legacy of The Ringling Brothers, Mable, and John Ringling. There are over 15 galleries displaying Asian and American Contemporary art along with European paintings from the Middle Ages to the nineteenth century. The collections hold several thousand objects from drawings, paintings to sculptures, and more. Walk all the way to the waterfront and you will be greeted by the Ca’ D'zan, a stunning architectural gem built for John Ringling and his wife Mable. You can get lost, spending a good amount of time enjoying the garden and bay views that surround it. Remember to book tickets to view the interior of the lavish home and see what living the high life in 1926 was like. Bring your friends, family, and enjoy a good picnic on the grounds after touring the museum.
